Second Chance
Second chance
Sir:Today when you go by a dog shelter on your way to a pet shop to get a new born puppy, do you ever think that you could save a dogs live by getting it from a shelter.
Getting a dog from a shelter is a better thing to do than getting a new born puppy from a pet shop because your giving a dog another chance at life, most of the dogs in shelter's have been beaten, neglected and left on the streets to die.
Animal Cops in large cities like Toronto encourage first time dog owners to get a dog from an animal shelter, because it will help learn about dogs and you'll only have to do a little training and a little bit of work ,than after they would be ready to get a new born.
A new born puppy means lots of training, but if you get a dog from a shelter they're most of the time already trained and very loyal.
The only difference between a puppy and a dog is that puppy is little and you can pick it up and hold it but the truth is that puppies eventually turn into dogs, so why not just get a dog from a shelter.
Getting a dog from the shelter will make you feel better about your self and also give a loving and deserving dog a warm friendly place to call home, there are many shelter's near you, its just like picking a dog out from a new born pet shop.
