 People Should Stop Polluting

Sir: Water is being polluted everyday! _{I think it's time to step up and stop polluting the water!} We use water for a lot of things such as cooking and transportation.

I feel that people don't want to keep the environment clean. We even clean ourselves in water! Imagine taking a bath or shower in smelly, green, polluted water! I you we don't stop we WILL be taking a bath or shower in smelly, green, polluted water.

Secondly, animals have habitats in or by the water, such as frogs and fish. Just think, if we pollute the water, the fish will die. If all of the fish die, we will run out of food supplies.

I'm sure that both people and animals won't enjoy drinking polluted water. If you do, you will get very sick. For example, in May of 2000, the town of Walkerton, Ontario suffered one of Canada's worst outbreaks of waterborne disease. 2300 people became ill and seven people died! Escherichia coli 0157:H7 and Campylobacter jejuni, were both found in the town's municipal well-water supply.

And this is why I think you should stop polluting the water. Just think you could die from drinking polluted water.
