Using the link above, you may wish to watch a powerpoint presentation created by Mark Ahlness, a teacher with the Seattle School District, he has been blogging with his students for some time and it simply shows how students have been immersed into this new technology.  I have modelled my own blog site after his and I hope that we have equal success.
