It is hard to believe that school has already started!  Where did the summer go?

Blog Rubric

Beginning on Monday, January 14, 2008, I will be assessing your personal blog pages.  The following rubric outlines the requirements for this task.  The focus will be on Post Frequency, Understanding of Content, and Use of enhancements. Good luck while you personalize! Laughing

The student expresses ideas that are not original and the content is not related to the assigned task.

The student expresses ideas that are sometimes original and the content is sometimes related to the assigned task.

The student expresses some original ideas and the content is usually related to the assigned task.

The student expresses many original ideas in a clear and confident manner. The content is always related to the assigned task.

 

Post Frequency

The post frequency is well below expectations.

The post frequency is slightly below expectations.

The post frequency is slightly above expectations.

The post frequency exceeds expectations.

 

Understanding of Content

Demonstrates limited understanding of content.

Demonstrates some understanding of content.

Demonstrates considerable understanding of content.

Demonstrates thorough understanding of content

 

Use of Enhancements

The student did not personalize their blog space.

The student has shown little evidence of personalizing their blog space.

The student enhanced their blog space with some video, images, audio, or other multimedia enhancements.

The student has added their own personal touch to their blog space by using many videos, images, audio, or other multimedia enhancements.
